In our ever-connected world, the best defense is being aware and safeguarding your own personal information.  It’s important to review your account statement regularly. If you ‎encounter suspicious account activity or notice unusual system behavior when conducting Online Banking ‎then immediately contact Customer Service at 866-698-5760.

There are some additional steps you can take in protecting your accounts:

Never give out your personal identifying information via email or text. If you receive texts or email requesting personal information — such as your account numbers, passwords, Social Security number or birth date.

Do not provide this data or click on any links provided in the texts or emails without confirming that the requests are legitimate. Be mindful over the phone as well. If you ever feel uncertain about the party contacting you, call their customer service center telephone number from their website or your print records to verify and get routed to the correct contact. You can verify the authenticity of requests that appear to be from MapleMarkBank by calling us at 866-698-5760, or visiting a location near you.

Create a strong user name and password. For example, use a mix of capital and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Avoid using the names of relatives or pets or anything else that could be easily guessed.

Do not use the same user name and password for all you online accounts.

Never reveal your password or any personal identifying information over the phone, by email or by text.  When you call MapleMark Bank, customer service we may ask personal information for identification purposes but will never ask for your password.

Avoid using public computers and if you must, always Log out when you are done.

Enroll in eStatements and/or log into your account to avoid a paper trail of confidential information and potential mail fraud.

Our cyber security technology helps protect your personal and financial information. Below are some of the safeguards we have in place to protect against online security breaches.

User Name and Password –Online account access is limited to those possessing the user name and password associated with your account(s).

Encryption –Encryption technology protects data in transit between your computer and our systems. The closed lock icon indicates a communication session is encrypted. As well as, an internet address that begins with https://…indicates that the page you are viewing is encrypted. The “s” stands for “secure”.

Virus Protection –Anti-virus protection technology detects and prevents recognized viruses from entering our computer network.

Timeout –Our online system is designed to log you out automatically after several minutes of inactivity.
